Mundial SA is the result of the merging of Zivi S/A Cutelaria and of the operations of Hercules S/A Fábrica de Talheres in Eberle S/A. The business meeting of these three companies resulted in a new company, with new fields of operation and directed toward development of its brands, both in Brazil and abroad.
Since its foundation, in 1896, the company has undergone countless changes, always seeking to adapt its product and brand portfolio to needs of the market where it operated. The business merger in 2003 allowed the individualization of operations by brand.
The Mundial brand, followed by the logotype of the 4 Aces, is dedicated to the Personal Beauty segment. The Hercules brand is directed toward the food processing, preparation and presentation segment. While the Eberle Fashion brand is directed toward the component segment for the fashion industry, and the Eberle Solution brand toward manual tools for home and professional use. To round up the brand portfolio, we have Syllent, which is directed toward products related to clean liquid propulsion.
Mundial SA adopted a system of uninterrupted evolutionary change, through which the company is constantly reevaluating its concepts regarding markets, products, processes and personnel. This permanent uneasiness has resulted in important improvements, at the same time opening the way for the obtainment of unique recognitions for the company, in Brazil and abroad.
Deserving highlight is the 2003 Technological Innovation award – Product Category from Finep (Financer of Studies and Projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology), the Top Human Being and Citizenship awards from ABRH-RS (Brazilian Association of Human Resources), won for four years in a row (2000 to 2004), as well as the systematic indication of “Best Product of the Year” in various award categories promoted by renown entities in the national and international market.
The innovations in products, processes and personnel management has been the main link in the search for leadership in the segments in which Mundial operates. The perseverance associated with the company’s set of principles and values has served as a source of inspiration and creativity in the search for innovative solutions. Based on this, we defined our mission:
