The Mundial Foundation, manager of the benefits offered by the company, is a nonprofit assistance organization that aims at integrating and meeting the personal and professional aspects of its employees and dependents. Founded in June 24, 1961, its main characteristic is directed toward the human being.
 In the area of health, the Mundial Foundation has an internal polyclinic, with a clinic providing services in the following specialties: General Practitioner, Gynecologist and Obstetrician, Pediatrist, Dermatologist, Cardiologist, Orthopedist and Traumatologist, where its employees and dependents can be evaluated, treated and, as required, referred to external care. Through specialized companies like Unimed and Ulbra, emergency ward, consultations, exams, hospital admissions and surgical procedures are guaranteed. It is also responsible for providing assistance in dental prosthesis, oculists, funerals, delivery of layettes to newborns, plans with drugstores, psychological and psychiatric care, among others.
The Mundial Foundation has a supermarket and three stores in its structure, selling foods and clothes, bed, table and bathroom items, home appliances, kids and sports lines. The products are purchased at competitive prices and are deducted from the payroll in installments.
In addition to the social projects directed toward the integration of employees and their families, like the Christmas Party, Retirement Parties, Gaudério [Merrymaking] Ball, Chopp [Draught Beer] Ball and Festiqueijo [Cheese Festival], the Mundial Foundation also participates in and coordinates social projects directed toward collectivity, like the assistance rendered to other local entities, collecting amounts that are discounted in the payroll of the participant employees. Today, about 70% of the employees are involved, whose contributions are donated in the form of food goods to the following items:
30% of the amount to Lar da Velhice São Francisco de Assis.
30% of the amount to APADEV - Association of Parents and Friends of the Blind.
40% of the amount to APAE - Association of Parents and Friends of the Mentally Handicapped.
